Outstanding breakfast buffet. Simply, one the best breakfast experiences my wife and I have ever had. BIt of advise, order your omelet before you get going at the buffet. The omelet station is excellent and well stocked with proteins, veggies and alike. The corned beef hash is made fresh not from a can. Ever since we have gone, I cant stop thinking about it.

Whatevs. Nothing special. Ok enough. Those are the phrases that come to mind when describing this hotel restaurant. It's a nice space with good ambiance. Decent view with it overlooking the pool and lake area. Hostess, server, etc. are friendly and attentive. Menu is eh. Nothing particularly stood out. Everything I had was good, but nothing was great. Portions were generous. Prices were just about right. So my lunch and dinner here were quite good. Nothing crave-worthy to send me rushing back. But tasty enough to have me eat here twice. Which makes this spot a lot better than a lot of other hotel restaurants. So, in conclusion, it's not unique or worthy of an out-of-the-way trip, but if you're staying at the Hilton, don't hesitate to hit this spot up for all of your meals.

Yes, I really did eat here 6 times in three days. The menu had enough variety that I could try different things. The staff managed to stay on the right side of the fine line between very attentive and overbearing. They'll also give you a plastic to-go cup if you need it for drinks. The poolside frozen margaritas are very good (I liked the strawberry more than regular). The Coastal salad with chicken was light and refreshing. The chicken quesadilla is good. The guacamole is homemade with fresh tomatoes and avocado - it's very good. They also ask how spicy you want it. The buffalo chicken wrap and turkey club are also pretty good. If you order an entree for breakfast, they'll add the buffet for the same cost as just the buffet. They make omelets ready to order at the buffet and there's a station with cold cuts. Also, you can get chocolate milk, which was a nice touch. The breakfast potatoes are a little bland, though. You may want to ask for ketchup. Overall, a simple, solid menu, well-made food, and excellent staff. I was stuck at the hotel, but it didn't feel like it.

Wifey and I came here for date night. I had searched on "restaurants with a view" right here on Yelp and after realizing I didn't want to blow the $$$$ on the highest rated restaurant ($50 a plate? what?), so I chose this one. Wifey likes it when I make decisions and plan dates out, so I even called Veranda and made a reservation. Restaurants can get pretty crowded in West Palm Beach on a Friday night. But not this one. In fact, we were the second table to get seated for dinner service. Wifey had an awesome seat. She had a great view of this lake behind the restaurant and the beautiful Florida sky. I had an awesome seat. I had a great view of my wifey. The views here at this restaurant are pretty nice. ;) The service was pretty good. The staff was friendly and always smiling. There was a delay with our drinks which our waitress took the time to come and explain to us. We ordered seafood, as we often do. Wifey go the something encrusted grouper with the daily veggies and "truffle fries". The grouper itself was pretty good, but the sides were not. The veggies were barely cooked and the fries didn't even have a hint of truffle. If they didn't charge extra for the "truffle", they would have been OK fries. I ordered the Teriyaki glazed salmon with daily veggies and sweet potato. Same complaint about the daily veggies. The sweet potato was fine, but even I can cook those. The salmon was meh. It was not glazed, the sauce was on the side. The salmon was very tender, but very bland at the same time. The salad bar deserves an honorable mention. It was great! Nice greens with REAL BACON and delicious dressings. We both enjoyed the salad bar. Dessert was a very dry chocolate cake that was recently defrosted. It was included with my very reasonably priced meal, so at least I didn't have to pay for it. If you get the cake, get a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The combo was good. Overall, the view, staff and salad bar get a well deserved A. The main courses get a C. The side dishes and cake get an F.

Inside Hilton. Best waitress I've ever had. She was helpful, went out of her way to make suggestions, find me ketchup, and make sure we had everything we could possibly need in regular intervals. It's close to the airport, and the food was decent. Typical American fair so nothing amazing, but I wanted something simple and good. Good enough that my friend and I both got dinner orders to go after we had lunch there. When you're traveling, and lazy, it's a very good option. They also serve you by the pool if you're staying at the hotel and using their facilities.

This was my first time ever there. I ordered Macadamia nut encrusted grouper with baked potato and asparagus. First off served rolls which were cold old and dried out, I said please warm these up. You had to as if you were at HOJO"s pry open these small margarine pac"s to get any moisture on the bread. Then they served the fish 6 ozs of light plain no nut breaded tasted like COD fish. I took one bite, said Oh No way this is Grouper! The potato was bigger than the fish microwaved to death and dry as a desert. Once again with no seasoning on either and 4 sprigs of the smallest asparagus I ever laid eyes on. I said this is it!!! I asked for manager, after 20 mins she shows up says sorry and wants to fix it again? I said Mam I been here almost a hour and I am not in the mood for replication of this, And then waited for bill another 20 mins, and still charged me?? I then had to wait 15 more finally I went to register and said LOOK yall need to take care of this I am HUNGRY! This is a HILTON??? Worst Hilton I ever ate at in my Life!! Stay AWAY!!!!

I asked the waiter which was the better choice. He suggested the catch of day which was the sword fish. Yummmmmy. The only reason not 5 stars because the salad bar was a little plain jane. But the service and food was excellent.

The Veranda Restaurant is a great restaurant and is open to both the hotel guests and to the public. They serve great traditional meals and dinner specials.

I have been using the Veranda Restaurant for lunch meetings since 2007 and occasionally even a breakfast or dinner. Their food is always great and the service is wonderful. Many of the staff have been employed for some time so I receive very good care. I have done lunches in their bar, Club 10, for up to 53 women with the food coming from the buffet at the Veranda Restaurant and it is wonderful. Everyone finds what they want from Vegan to Meat-eaters. The fruit, cookies or fabulous deserts at the end always put a smile on our guests faces. They all leave happy and return often. I have recently had to move to the banquet area of the hotel because our lunches are too large for the Veranda Restaurant or Club 10 and truly miss the fabulous service and food of the Veranda Restaurant.

They used to have a great salad bar. Should consider resurrecting it. Prime rib was cooked nicely, as was the salmon. Server was attentive and pleasant. Being back the salad bar, please!!
